Description
Moonlight and Oak Tree..
Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament,
Another day's useless energy spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white.
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?
"Late Lament"Graham Edge Moody Blues..

Mitch, you must live in the same area I live in. I have somewhat of the same photo taken around the same time you did. It's awesome isn't, the moonlight in the tree.

OMG I have a similar photo, but taken in Redding CA. I love your work.

Thank you Traci these old oak trees have such personality and everyone is different..

This is so cool Mitch! I love that tree, and the silhouette against the blue and the moon is fantastic! Beautiful shot! L/F!
