This shot reminds me of a old friend from long ago that had a 55 Chevy! He would always put a sign in his car window that said "Wet Paint". His car had the original white factory paint finish. I guess he was lost in the 50's!!!!! vf

That is a good idea with the wet paint sign. I got this shot at a car show here in Tahoe where just about everyone is lost in the 50's LOL

The Chevrolet Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1950–1975 model years. Hardtops in the Chevrolet Deluxe Styleline model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952, but it was not a distinct series of its own until the 1953 model year. Bel Air production continued in Canada for its home market only through the 1981 model year. For 1950, Chevrolet came up with a revolutionary style that would set a pattern for decades. The Bel Air Hardtop (on the DeLuxe line[1][4]) was styled as a convertible with a non-detachable solid roof. Models like this had been around since the 1920s, including early Chevrolets, with no degree of success. But the newly revised idea, sweeping the GM line from Chevrolet to Cadillac, had finally found its era. First year production reached only 76,662 as buyers cautiously tested the revised concept.
