Fire Sky. This image was taken late summer while we were having a round of thunderstorms and a large forest fire was burning down the mountain between South Lake Tahoe and Placerville California. Although very tragic and destructive the smoke and clouds combined for some very Surreal and amazing sunsets..
My wife calls my camera our fourth child because it goes with us everywhere we go.This would explain the wide variety of photography on my site.After living in the Lake Tahoe Basin for more than 20 years an early disability retirement forced me to move down from the harsh winters of the high sierras to find a more tempered climate .
